We are looking for an AI & Automation Engineer to join our Data Analytics team and help drive the development of AI-powered and automated business solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to identify opportunities for automation, develop intelligent solutions, and support their implementation and adoption across the organization.

You will be involved in the full lifecycle of AI and automation projects, from understanding business needs and designing solutions to development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

The job is in Bucharest, with Labor Contract only, hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office, in alignment with the team).

What you will do

• Design and develop automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot, UiPath, and AI services.
• Build and support AI-powered workflows, AI agents, and process automation solutions.
• Connect applications, data sources, APIs, RPA tools, and AI services to create end-to-end solutions.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities where AI and automation can improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Work with teams across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and IT to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
• Develop Proof of Concepts / Proof of Values and help scale successful solutions into production.
• Ensure the reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement of existing automation and AI solutions.
• Support users and business stakeholders through documentation, training, and guidance.
• Collaborate with global IT teams, data specialists, and external technology partners.
• Contribute to AI & Automation best practices, governance, and the overall digital transformation strategy.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of experience in automation, AI/ML, data, software development, or a related area.
• Hands-on experience with automation technologies, ideally Power Automate, Power Apps, UiPath, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of AI and Generative AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
• Experience or interest in Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI services or similar AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.
• Programming experience with Python, SQL, Java, C#, R, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, data integration, and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with data analytics, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, or data modeling.
• Experience with Power BI and SAP is a plus.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and operate in a changing environment.
• Fluent English.
