We are supporting one of our clients (banking industry) with the recruitment of the new HRD.

Requirements

  • It is mandatory to have minimum 10 years of experience in HR, of which at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
  • Strong business orientation, with the ability to translate the bank’s strategic objectives into concrete HR initiatives.
  • Experience in HR digital transformation and the use of modern HRIS systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and regulations specific to the banking sector.
  • Experience in managing relationships with regulatory authorities and union partners (where applicable).
  • Advanced organizational strategy skills, including workforce planning, organizational diagnosis, and change management.
  • Solid experience in developing and implementing compensation and benefits policies in a regulated environment.
  • Strong competencies in talent acquisition, talent development, and performance management.
  • Ability to manage complex organizational culture, engagement, and retention programs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Annually develops training and personal development programs and oversees their approval, organization, and implementation, in accordance with current internal regulations.
  • Develops the methodology for performance management, organizes and monitors its transparent implementation, in line with current internal regulations.
  • For individuals whose professional activities have a significant impact on the bank’s risk profile, proposes a remuneration policy that promotes healthy and effective risk management.
  • Periodically reviews and submits for approval the general principles of the remuneration policy.
  • Makes proposals regarding the reward management system, in accordance with current internal regulations.
  • Develops the procedures and tools necessary for collective bargaining, participates in the collective negotiation of salary rights and working conditions; throughout the duration of the collective labor agreement, monitors compliance with the rights and obligations of both signatory parties.
  • Supports management in developing the organization and managing change.
  • Establishes internal regulations in the field of labor relations by periodically analyzing and amending the Internal Organization Regulations, job descriptions, and by developing procedures and internal policies in accordance with current labor legislation.
  • Annually reviews the salary grid based on labor market information (market studies on remuneration in the financial-banking system), National Bank of Romania reports on the average salary in the banking system, information provided by interviewed candidates, etc.
  • Organizes and implements the annual salary increase sessions approved by the General Director, after consultation with the Deputy General Directors.
  • Annually presents to the Bank’s Board of Directors a report on variable remuneration.
  • Participates in the annual budgeting process. Performs any other activities and responsibilities assigned by management.
