Reporting to the Lead Data Analyst, the Data Analyst I will contribute to complex Data Products, part of the Asset Platform, that support the platform’s end users in key decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on contributing to existing or new Data Products using mainly Power BI Desktop, as well as other tools, that enable end users to engage in self-service data analysis through experience rich data content.
- Support the team’s processes, including performing data refreshes, analyzing the root cause of Data Products defects, creating or maintaining data snapshots and engaging Product Management team members during wireframing.
- Query the Enterprise Data Warehouse using SQL or BI tools to retrieve data required for ad-hoc data analysis.

Your background and experience:
- B.S. or M.S. in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Computer Science / Management Information Systems
- Great general data analysis fundamentals
- Proven knowledge of Power BI Desktop fundamentals (preferable, but similar experience with other tools, such as Tableau/Looker/Apache Superset, may be equivalent)
- Working knowledge of database querying through SQL or similar
Nice to have:
- Working experience with the wider Power BI/SSAS/AAS tooling ecosystem (DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit etc.)
- Working experience with reporting data models, such as dimensional data marts or similar
- Working experience with VCS software such as Git or similar
- Proficiency in MS Excel, especially PowerPivot
- Working experience with Snowflake or Databricks
- Python Data Analysis (example libraries consist of, but are not limited to: pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, scikit-learn, plotly)
- R Data Analysis (example libraries consist of, but are not limited to: ggplot2 and/or general tidyverse, RMarkdown, Shiny)
