MRO Specialist
Location: Bucharest, Hybrid (2 days/week remote)
Region covered: EMEAI (Europe and India)
A leading global technology company is seeking a Regional MRO Specialist to join its supply chain and logistics team. This role will be central in managing the planning and flow of indirect materials critical to equipment maintenance, repair, and operations across multiple manufacturing and service locations.
Role Summary:
You’ll serve as the primary liaison between supply chain, procurement, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure indirect materials are efficiently managed, sourced, and delivered. Your contributions will directly support operational continuity and cost-efficiency through proactive planning, vendor collaboration, and continuous process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
MRO Planning & Coordination
- Plan and oversee MRO materials for multiple regional sites across Europe and Asia.
- Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, maintenance, and production teams to ensure supply alignment with operational needs.
- Analyze consumption data and determine reorder points to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Drive initiatives to eliminate surplus, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory.
- Manage and maintain accurate MRO master data within enterprise systems (SAP, LMS, O9, etc.).
- Support new production line transitions and reference updates.
- Address and resolve supply-related escalations to prevent disruptions in operations.
Compliance & Operational Excellence
- Ensure all MRO activities are conducted in alignment with workplace safety and environmental standards.
- Adhere to emergency response and intervention protocols.
- Promote and implement continuous improvement practices (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Lean principles).
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in warehouse operations, MRO supply planning, or inventory control within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of maintenance inventory planning and CMMS principles
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred), including MRP, BOM, SIOP, MPS modules
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Languages: Advanced proficiency in English and French
- Tools: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain analytics platforms
